HAYMAN ISLAND
I have been to the One & Only Resort on Hayman Island twice with my eldest son Teddy. It’s amazing because you get the luxury of a hotel but it’s super kiddie friendly!
The resort is the only thing on the island, so you don’t get disturbed by hustle and bustle! You can literally choose to do nothing all day and lounge around the pool or explore the Great Barrier Reef.

WHY WE LOVE IT
What I love most is it is only a two hour flight away (from Sydney) and you can spend five nights there but feel like you’ve had a two week holiday!
KIDS CLUB
The resort has a free kids club which my son loved! He didn’t need to go at all but chose to go to socialise and do the fun activities they offer.

EATS
A variety of nice restaurants allow you to mix it up at night so you don’t get bored.

ACTIVITIES
The best activity we did was snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef. We explored about 2kms of it! It was such a special day for us, I highly recommend it!
