Roxy says…
Fiji is a gorgeous location and just so close to Sydney it makes it an easy location to travel with children.
There is nothing worse than spending hours on a plane with kids so three hours is just perfect!
WHERE ROXY STAYED
This time around we stayed at Six Senses which was a beautiful location and easy to get to from Nadi airport.

Editor’s note: How to get there? The speedboat journey to Six Senses Fiji takes approximately 35 minutes from Denarau Marina. Alternatively, a short helicopter journey from the mainland (Nadi International Airport, Denarau or other locations) will whisk you to the resort’s own helipad.
“The Six Senses Kids Club was great and there were plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy”
Editor’s note: The “Grow with Six Senses Kids Club” is for children aged between 4-12. They take part in fun, locally inspired activities. Residences come with complimentary nanny services.

PIXIE & HUNTER’S MALOLO GO-TO’S
- The children loved being able to walk to the Ice-Cream Store on the island, there was a sense of independence for them and we as parents felt comfortable as it was a small island.
- Pizza nights were a firm favourite!
- Six Senses also host big screen movie nights under the stars.

HELPING HANDS
We had help with local Fijian ladies every day and they were incredible, the Fijians are just wonderful with kids – a calmness that I wish I had!!
The kids got on incredibly well with the babysitters and the children were happy to see the back of us on their arrival!
IN ROXY’S SUITCASE
We went minimalistic this holiday. Too often we leave home with bags full of stuff which we don’t even end up wearing.
We took swimmers plus casual items we could match with different pieces this time – and it was perfect!
