Michael says…
Noosa is definitely one of our favourite Australian destinations to holiday. Whether it’s just for a weekend or a longer stay, we love heading to Noosa.
It’s one of those destinations that is an easy option to get to and the moment you are there, it’s relaxation time.

WHERE TO STAY
We generally stay beachfront at Seahaven Noosa. They are spacious apartments right on Noosa Main Beach with views to the Headland and right up to Double Island Point.
If I am travelling without the kids, the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort is also great and their poolside cabanas are very chilled and a great place to spend an afternoon relaxing.
OUT AND ABOUT
There is so much to do in Noosa and naturally swimming and surfing are always on the agenda!
Noosa is home to the Noosa Summer Swim event in February which we love to be a part of.

Noosa is also a world surfing reserve famous for its surfing breaks so its always great to get on a longboard and enjoy surfing their famous points.
KLIM’S TOP NOOSA MUST-DOS
01. PARK THAT THOUGHT
The Noosa National Park is one of the must-do walks or runs when in Noosa. Head straight onto the Boardwalk from Noosa Main Beach and enjoy the boardwalk right up to the park.
The Noosa National Park has a series of tracks; coastal and inland that are just beautiful.
There’s always a chance of seeing dolphins off the coastal track and if you time your visit right, you are likely to see whales as they migrate north for the season.

02. ‘SHORE’ THING
The Noosa River foreshore is a really great place to explore. Whether it’s a run along the boardwalk, having a picnic or BBQ with the family and friends or hiring a boat and discovering Noosa’s waterways.
Just five minutes from Hastings Street, it’s a great place to visit and there is also some great restaurants and cafes there along the terrace as well.
03. EATS THAT CAN’T BE BEAT
My two favourite eateries in Noosa are Light Years and Thomas Corner Eatery.

04. I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM
On Hastings Street, you can’t go past Massimo Gelateria for a brilliant ice-cream.

Bistro C beachfront is one of those iconic restaurants that is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole family.
