The Baby Jogger City Select was an easy choice with our first born (hello modular options!) as well as the City Tour for our holidays.

Where do we start! Ok, let me break it down for you:
1. It’s oh so modular
Bub can now enjoy five ways to ride.
The City Tour LUX now accepts the City GO Baby Capsule (sold separately), bassinet or standard seat. Plus pair it with the Glider Board (sold separately) to make it a double!
2. It’s suitable from birth
The option of the cosy padded bassinet allows the pram to be used from birth with a perfectly flat base. Suitable for newborn to 9kgs.
3. The bassinet is foldable, wait… what?
Yes! You can easily fold up the bassinet with the chassis for popping in and out of the car. Oh the convenience!
4. Easy to use hand brake
It’s flip flop friendly and safe as houses!
5. Adjustable footrest
Maneuver the foot-well to keep your little one comfortable as their teeny legs grow.
6. All-wheel suspension
Oh the glide…! Need we say more.
7. The carry strap
Allows you to carry the pram folded on your shoulder without having to pack it into it’s backpack every time.
8. Plus ALL the other goodies!
Multi-recline positions, 3 panel canopy with UV 50+ protection, magnetic peek-a-boo window, ultra-compact one-hand fold, auto-lock on folding for ease of carry, lightweight and durable tires, canopy visor for extra shade and so much more!
But does it meet carry-on requirements?
The extra comfort of the Baby Jogger City Tour LUX means it does not fold as compact as the City Tour (pictured below). As such it will need to be checked-in when flying. Not to worry though, it’s still super lightweight and folds neatly into its carry bag for storage and safety.

A bassinet that folds! How has no one thought of this?! We are travelling with our bub who’ll be only 5 months soon. Her everyday pram has a bassinet and to make the transition as smooth as possible we wanted a travel pram with a bassinet, we didbt think it would be so hard! But City Jogger have done it. Woohoo!

This looks too good to be true and with all the traveling we do and having gone through 5 prams (yes you read this correctly) for our first born, I would like to put this one to the test for baby number 2. I think by far the closing /operating system looks the best. As long as I can purchase a travel bag to put it in while flying (and that it doesn’t go missing by baggage handlers) I think this pram looks perfect.

Does the canopy give decent enough sun cover? We have the Mini GT and it’s great for sun cover. The select doesn’t come down quite as far. It looks like from the photos this one does okay as long as the seat is upright?

Keep in mind the #CityTourLUX is just slightly bigger than the #CityTour which means it can’t be taken as carry-on, however it folds up super easy into it’s own carry bag for checking in. The new features will make it worthwhile, especially the modular options and the all-wheel suspension! It’s a great every day pram 🙂

We have loved the City Tour but the extra options with the LUX version would make it an even better fit. With 5 kids, we use ours as an everyday pram because it’s the only pram/stroller that fits in the 3rd row so it would be great to attach a glider board for the 2 year old. The bassinet would be a great addition too as we’ve just had to make do with a tiny baby in the regular Tour. Shame this one wasn’t available a few months ago!
The new Baby Jogger City Tour Lux really does look like the perfect pram, especially for me as a FTM living in the inner city with absolutely no confidence in my core strength to lift other prams with similar features 😛

Absolutely love the look of this pram. We currently have a a baby jogger city select which has been amazing for both my babies but we are about to head off on a trip around Australia in our caravan for 6-12 months so are looking for a more compact pram, this would for our 9 month old, this be perfect!

As a mum who doesn’t drive this is amazing folds up easily and in a manageable fashion it’s reversible so perfect for a newborn and for anxious mums! I love that the bassinette folds! And the backpack!! Perfect for days out while herding the other kids!!

I had 3 babies in 3 years and we have absolutely loved our city select. We use the the 2 seats along with the skateboard and is a great option to be able to carry 3 kids at once. Would love a new upgrade!

I love my Baby Jogger City Mini Gt so much I always tell my expecting Mumma friends to get a Baby Jogger. We recently had our double GT taken/ my mummy brain left it in the car park at the playground 🙁 and it wasn’t there when we went back.
